Incident Description: While operating at the scene of a working fire incident, Captain Eck was not feeling well and reported to the Rehab Sector where his vital signs were irregular and did not return to normal.  Eck subsequently worked one more shift during which he responded to several incidents before going to a doctor after reporting that he still did not feel well.  Although the doctor hospitalized him, Captain Eck later passed away after surgery from complications associated with an undisclosed cardiac problem.
