U.S. Fire Administration Firefighter Fatality Notification - Sudlersville, MD

The United States Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality:

Name: Charles Fletcher Clough, Jr.

Fire Department Chief: Pending

Incident Description: Chief Clough was responding as the sole occupant in a department SUV to a reported appliance fire when he was involved in a single motor vehicle accident.  Clough was pronounced dead at the scene.  Police are continuing the investigation.
