The United States Fire Administration (USFA) has received notice of the following firefighter fatality:

Incident Description: After returning to the firehouse from an emergency run, Firefighter Darrington reported to fellow firefighters that he was feeling ill. When Darrington failed to respond to another alarm call, he was discovered in the firehouse unresponsive. Firefighters and a medical director were unable to revive him. The cause of Darrington’s passing still to be reported.
