Assistant Professor/Career Program Facilitator Fire Science - Johnson County Community College (KS)
Summary of Duties: In addition to teaching and teaching related responsibilities, the Assistant Professor/Facilitator Fire Science will be responsible for preparing the IFSAC fire program accreditation every five years; conducting program and student activities; providing assistance with program related facilitation tasks; facilitating the sharing of resource materials, facilities, and equipment for instructors; representing the program to internal and external groups; supporting college policies and procedures; participating in college, division, and program activities; contributing to the growth and enhancement of the college mission and programs; and assisting with other program activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree.
· Strong communication skills.
· Three to five years teaching experience.
· Five years relevant professional experience in the field.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Master's degree.
· Previous teaching experience at Johnson County Community College.
